Srinivas Rao was born in Mysore, Karnataka, and raised in a deeply religious family. His father, a Vedic scholar, introduced him to the Bhagavadgita at the age of 3, setting the foundation for a lifelong spiritual and philosophical journey. Encouraged by his teachers and school management, Srinivas excelled in Bhagavadgita recitation competitions at interschool, district, and state levels, winning numerous accolades throughout his schooling.
The Bhagavadgita played a pivotal role in shaping Srinivas’ life, instilling in him strong Vedic values that continue to guide both his personal and professional decisions.

In 2018, under the guidance of His Holiness Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji of Sri Puttige Mutt, Udupi, he began teaching the Bhagavadgita to young children at Sri Krishna Vrundavana, now located in Riverstone, passing on the wisdom that shaped him.
Srinivas completed his master’s degree in management (MBA) from SDM Institute for Management Development, one of the premier business schools in India. After working in India for a few years in the field of technology business development and consulting, he migrated to Australia in 2014.

Professionally, Srinivas serves as the Head of Technology at Woolworths, where he leads the management of the largest and one of the most complex SAP payroll applications in the southern hemisphere. He believes that when challenges arise, the Bhagavadgita offers timeless solutions, reinforcing that it is not just a religious scripture but a blueprint for resilience, leadership, and success in all aspects of life.
