Prof. Dinesh Chahal

Professor

Professor Dinesh Chahal is a distinguished academician, social activist, and youth motivator currently serving as Professor and Dean of International Affairs at the Central University of Haryana, India. Born in the village of Frian Kalan in Jind, Haryana, he earned his Ph.D. in Education and Master’s degrees in History and Education from Panjab University, Chandigarh, along with NET qualifications in both fields.

With over 20 years of experience in teaching and research, Prof. Chahal has published extensively in national and international journals and supervised numerous Ph.D. and M.Phil. students. His research primarily focuses on youth empowerment and school education.

Prof. Chahal is deeply committed to youth development, having served as Coordinator for the National Service Scheme, Youth Red Cross, and District Commissioner for Bharat Scouts & Guides. He has conducted more than 500 workshops and seminars globally on topics such as youth motivation, drug de-addiction, national integration, and environmental awareness, often inspired by the Bhagavad Gita’s teachings. His key principles – Swadharma (individual duty), Nishkam Karma (selfless action), and Sthitapragya (inner stability) – guide his personal and professional endeavours.

His extensive social service includes organizing blood donation drives, awareness campaigns, and environmental initiatives. Recognized for his efforts, Prof. Chahal has received numerous awards from governmental and non-governmental organizations, including multiple honours from the Governor of Haryana.

He has represented India academically across various countries, including the UK, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, South Africa, UAE, Malaysia, Nepal, Vietnam, and Singapore. Prof. Chahal continues to inspire youth with his visionary leadership and commitment to ethical and educational excellence.
